KAMPALA, Uganda|SHIFTMEDIA| “He who laughs last, laughs best, or He was laughs best laughs last?”, Anyway, it is now official, Despite hurdles, and multitudes of hills to climb, the electoral commission has finally verified and cleared supporters of National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential flag bearer.

“Signatures endorsing Hon Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert’s presidential candidature have been successfully verified by the electoral commission,” the party said on Wednesday.

He will be officially nominated on November 3, 2020.

The Electoral Commission has so far cleared 8 presidential candidates for next years general elections including, Robert Kabuleta, Gen Henry Tumukunde, and incumbent President Museveni among others.
